Inazuma Eleven for the Nintendo DS is for me a unique combination of a football game and an RPG which makes it truly a special experience. You follow the story of Mark Evans a young goalkeeper who along with his team tries to conquer the world of football. What I personally enjoyed about Inazuma Eleven is the mix of tactical elements and the spectacular often over-the-top special moves that make the matches on the pitch a visual spectacle.
The gameplay is simple and accessible making it easy to get into. There is a clear focus on strategically placing your players and choosing the right actions. The RPG-like storyline where you can improve your team and recruit new characters really adds depth to the game. This makes it not just a sports game but also a game where you can truly grow and develop your team.
The anime influences are clearly present which makes it interesting for both fans of the series and newcomers. The colourful characters and exciting storylines keep you engaged. The TV series Inazuma Eleven holds a special place in my heart. This game does too. You play as the team Raimon Eleven. You might think it's just a simple football game. But it definitely is not. It's an RPG. Each player has super techniques. It could be a defensive technique, an offensive technique, and a super shot. There is a lot of variety in players. You can choose from hundreds of players. If you haven't watched the TV series yet, then you should definitely consider doing so! Furthermore, the controls are perfect, but that's more because it's an RPG. It's a fantastic game, don't hesitate!

Amazing game
Inazuma Eleven is and remains one of my most played games on the Nintendo DS. It brings nostalgia with it when I play it again. I would have liked to give it a ten, only the point is that after playing it once, you already know the storyline and what the outcomes will be of the rest of the opponents in the football frontier tournament.
