Everything is spot on about this amazing Mario & Luigi RPG
The Mario & Luigi series has always been one of my favorites and "Partners in Time" is also my favorite part.
The RPG game is incredibly well put together, aside from the somewhat slow start. The story is interesting, thanks to a new enemy, Princess Shroob, of whom you gradually see more and more in the game. The dialogues are entertaining and full of humor. Especially Baby Mario and Baby Luigi contribute greatly to that. That's why you don't want to skip them.
The combat system is fantastic. The tactical aspect of fighting is nicely combined with executing the attacks, which you learn in the game as you progress. The enemies are original and the boss battles are quite challenging! That's why it's useful to level up all your characters by defeating many enemies.
Furthermore, exploring the world full of secrets and doing a bit of puzzling is a delight. The different worlds you visit are full of surprises, look great, and, most importantly, are well put together. The pace of progression is just right.
With Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, you experience an unforgettable adventure, full of cool battles. A game that perfectly represents the series.
