Charming humour, and plenty of Simpsons!
The Simpsons Game for the Nintendo DS is a platformer that was released in 2007, alongside versions for other platforms like the Nintendo Wii. For me, the charm of this game lies primarily in the humour and the unique art style. As a fan of The Simpsons and cartoons, I can really appreciate the many jokes in the game. Additionally, the cutscenes are of high quality, which is impressive for a Nintendo DS game.
However, the platforming aspect of the game can sometimes be a bit disappointing. Some sections seem poorly tested, which detracts from the gameplay experience. I often found myself stuck in places where the solution wasn’t immediately clear, which could be frustrating at times. Despite these downsides, the game remains engaging enough to keep playing, especially due to the humour and the recognisable style of The Simpsons.
